SnitchHQ

How SnitchHQ works

Stick a QR code in every room. Anyone scans, taps what's broken, and the right team knows in seconds. That's the whole product — the details below.

1

Stick

Print a branded QR sheet per room and put it on the table or door.

2

Scan & tap

No app, no login. Big buttons, 10 seconds, optional photo.

3

Fixed

Alerts hit email, Slack, or Teams. Dedupe keeps it to one ticket.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is SnitchHQ?

A QR-code issue-reporting system for rooms. You stick a QR code in each room; anyone who finds something broken scans it, taps what's wrong, and the right team gets alerted instantly. Admins get a dashboard with every report, plus analytics showing which rooms break the most.

Do the people reporting issues need an app or account?

No. Reporters just scan with their phone camera — no app, no sign-in, no training. Only your admins and technicians sign in, with a passwordless email link.

What kinds of rooms/issues does it handle?

Anything. Conference rooms are the classic case (broken displays, cameras, mics), but you can create custom button sets per room type — bathrooms (cleanliness, supplies, leaks), warehouses, kitchens, lobbies. Each room shows the buttons you choose.

How is this different from enterprise AV monitoring like Crestron XiO?

Those tools watch device telemetry and cost enterprise money. SnitchHQ captures what humans actually experience — on any hardware, with nothing installed on your network — at a fraction of the cost. Many issues (missing cables, dirty rooms, dead remotes) never show up in telemetry at all.

Won't we get spammed with duplicate reports?

No — that's a core feature. Repeat reports of the same issue in the same room merge into one report with a counter ("reported 4×"), and people who scan a room with a known issue see an "already reported — being worked on" banner instead of filing again.

Where do alerts go?

Email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams — your choice, with routing rules. Bathroom issues can go to facilities while AV issues go to IT, based on location groups or button sets. Quiet hours and escalation rules are built in.

Can it match our branding?

Yes. Your logo and colors appear on every scan page and printed QR sheet, so employees see your company, not ours.

We have hundreds of rooms across multiple sites. How painful is setup?

Import all rooms from a CSV (with your location hierarchy — regions, buildings, floors), then export every QR sheet as one print-ready PDF. A 400-room rollout is an afternoon, not a project.

What data do you collect from our employees?

Almost none. Reports are anonymous by default; an email address is only stored if the reporter opts in to a "notify me when it's fixed" message. Photos are stripped of location metadata automatically. The QR scan page itself is 100% tracker-free — no cookies, no analytics. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do you keep our data secure and separate from other companies?

Each organization's data is isolated at the database level with row-level security — enforced by the database itself, not just our app code — so one customer can never see or touch another's rooms, reports, or team. Inside your workspace, access is role-based (owner, admin, technician, viewer). Sign-in is passwordless email links (no passwords to leak or reuse), traffic is encrypted, report photos are kept in private storage, and reporter IPs are only ever stored as one-way hashes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How much does it cost?

Free for up to 5 rooms, forever. Paid plans are one flat monthly price — Team at $29/month (up to 25 spaces) and Business at $99/month (up to 150) — with unlimited teammates and reporters. We never charge per seat. See the pricing page.

Can we cancel anytime? What happens to our data?

Yes — no contracts on Team plans. You can export all reports as CSV whenever you like, and we delete your organization's data on request.
